Snacks

Marion F. sends along this snack she was served while on a mission trip with her church to Honduras:

Fresh green mango, peeled and cut into slices about the size of carrot or celery sticks. Place a few drops of tobasco and a little salt on each slice before eating.

*The tobasco was thinner and hotter than "Lousiana hot sauce" and a little bit sweet. I believe lime juice would be good also but it wasn't offered. You'll either love it or think you've been set on fire.

We tried this and it really is quite good.  I put out a hot salsa and well as a dish of Key Lime juice.  I dipped them consecutively and enjoyed it.
